Francesco Ruffatti formally handing over the organ at St. Mel's Cathedral, Longford to me for future maintenance/tuning. Quite what I was looking at or thinking I cannot imagine! :-) Shame about the CCTV screen.....it badly blocks the view to what is a pretty handsome organ from the main body of the cathedral, but it's there so that congregants sitting on the side aisle can see activity in the sanctuary area, for the pillars block their view. The pillars coincidentally came from Co. Carlow, my now home county.
